The brief: a TV that fits the home gym
The customer wanted a wall-mounted TV for their home gym in Bamber Bridge, Preston. The aim was a cleaner appearance with the TV cables concealed, together with a wired data connection and a new aerial feed for TV use. Those connections were part of the brief alongside the mounting itself.
The photographs show the screen on the wall between the glazed doors, with a weight bench, dumbbell rack and exercise equipment around it. Mounting the TV on the wall lets it form part of that layout without needing a separate floor-standing TV unit.
Wall mounting and concealed TV cables
EDD wall-mounted the television and concealed the TV cabling as part of the installation. Keeping the cable route discreet matters in a room like this: the screen sits on a relatively narrow section of wall, framed by the glass on either side.

New Cat6 data cabling and a TV aerial feed

Why it helped to treat the work as one project
