Whole-property Wi-Fi
Coverage planned around the building, its users and the rooms, workspaces and outdoor areas where the connection is actually needed.
Explore Wi-Fi solutionsEvolution Data & Digital is a Stockport-based, engineer-led technology company already attending work across Warrington and the wider WA area through Checkatrade enquiries and longstanding contacts. We plan reliable Wi-Fi, data cabling and networks for homes and businesses, with Starlink, backup connectivity, CCTV and selected larger TV projects where the location and scope make sense.

Slow Wi-Fi is not always a Wi-Fi problem. A poorly positioned router, weak cabling, overloaded equipment or an unmanaged collection of switches and extenders can all produce the same frustrating symptoms.
We look at the complete route from the incoming internet connection to the devices that depend on it. That may mean repositioning existing equipment, adding a properly placed access point, installing a wired backbone or planning a managed network across the whole property.
The aim is not to install the most equipment. It is to leave the home or business with a system that is proportionate, understandable and easier to support.

Explore commercial networksA faster broadband package cannot fix poor coverage inside the property. Larger homes, extensions, converted lofts, home offices, garages and garden rooms can all expose the limits of a single router.
We assess the layout, existing equipment and how the connection is used before recommending a solution. Depending on the property, the right answer may be a better router position, a carefully planned mesh system, hard-wired access points or a mixture of Wi-Fi and Ethernet.
Existing equipment is retained where it is doing a useful job. Where cabling will produce a more dependable result than adding another wireless unit, we explain why.

Wi-Fi is convenient, but important equipment often performs better on a cable. We install planned data routes for homes, offices and commercial premises, from an individual Ethernet connection to a structured network with a cabinet, patch panel and multiple outlets.
Cabling can provide the backbone for wireless access points, computers, VoIP phones, CCTV, televisions, payment equipment and other connected systems. It also makes future fault-finding and expansion simpler than a collection of unlabelled adapters and unmanaged switches.
Cable routes, termination points and equipment locations are agreed around the building rather than forced into a standard layout.

A business network has to support more than laptops and phones. Wi-Fi, card machines, printers, VoIP, CCTV, guest devices and cloud services may all depend on the same underlying connection.
Evolution can plan the cabling, switching, Wi-Fi and internet equipment as one system, or improve a specific part of an existing setup. Where useful, staff, guest, CCTV and other device groups can be separated rather than left sharing one unmanaged network.
We work directly with the business and can coordinate with an existing IT provider where responsibilities overlap. Remote management and ongoing support are available for suitable systems.

In many Warrington locations, a suitable fixed-line service will remain the sensible first choice. On a rural fringe, a temporary site or a premises where the available fixed connection is not suitable, Starlink, 4G or 5G may provide another route.
For businesses that cannot comfortably lose card payments, cloud systems or phones when one connection fails, a second connection and correctly configured network equipment may also be worth considering.
We assess the available options, the building and what genuinely needs to stay online. Starlink is not presented as the answer to every broadband problem, and backup connectivity is sized around the actual risk rather than added automatically.

Networked systems often overlap. A CCTV installation may need new data cabling, better switching or improved Wi-Fi. A larger renovation may combine the network, television points, wall-mounted screens and connected equipment within one planned project.
We install CCTV for homes and businesses and can incorporate camera cabling and network setup into the wider design. We can also consider substantial TV wall mounting, media-wall, multi-room television and aerial work where the location and scope suit the visit.
Routine low-value television callouts are not the main purpose of this regional page. For work toward the outer edge of the WA area, we confirm the postcode and scope before arranging a visit.
We consider suitable home and business projects across Warrington and surrounding communities. Runcorn, Widnes and Daresbury are part of the wider WA working area; they are not presented as parts of Warrington itself.

Evolution is based in Stockport. If your town is not listed, send the postcode and a short description of the work. The type and scale of the project are considered alongside the location before a survey or installation is arranged.
Tell us what is not working, what you would like to improve and where the property is. We can help identify whether the answer is better Wi-Fi, cabling, a network upgrade, another internet option or a combination of systems.
Send the postcode, the problem you are trying to solve and any useful photographs or plans.
An engineer will discuss the existing setup, the required outcome and whether a site assessment would be useful.
Where chargeable work is recommended, the scope is explained and quoted before it proceeds.
The agreed system is installed, configured and tested, with the important details explained before completion.
We assess the fault and the required outcome before recommending equipment.
Equipment that remains suitable can be retained rather than replaced automatically.
Wi-Fi, cabling, networks and connected systems can be planned together.
The proposed work is explained and quoted before chargeable installation proceeds.
The photographs on this page retain their real locations. Explore more completed work and the technical decisions behind larger projects.
Send the postcode, a short explanation and any useful photographs. We will help work out whether the sensible next step is Wi-Fi, cabling, a network upgrade, another internet option or a combination.
