Evolution Data & Digital is based in Stockport rather than Lancashire, so this page is deliberately built around the work that makes sense for a planned regional visit: whole-site Wi-Fi, Starlink and resilient internet, structured data cabling, fibre, commercial networks, CCTV, alarms, access control and joined-up technology projects. We confirm the postcode and scope before arranging a visit and do not present ourselves as having a Lancashire office.

Preston is the first Lancashire town we want this regional hub to strengthen. For offices, hospitality, workshops, larger homes and multi-building properties, we can combine business Wi-Fi installation and commercial networking, Cat6 / Cat6A data cabling, fibre backbones and business internet and failover into one controlled project rather than treating each fault or system separately.

A genuine residential example is our home-gym TV installation in Bamber Bridge, Preston — wall mounting, concealed cables, a new Cat6 data cable and a new TV aerial feed in one project.

Blackburn and nearby commercial areas are a strong fit for larger network and security projects. A typical scope might include structured cabling, PoE switching, managed Wi-Fi, CCTV and controlled access around the same infrastructure. Our CCTV installation and access control and door entry services can be planned alongside the network where that keeps responsibility clear and avoids separate contractors working around each other.

Blackpool and the Fylde are further from our normal day-to-day patch, so we target the projects where travelling for a proper survey and installation adds value: hotels, guest accommodation, hospitality, offices and other premises needing dependable Wi-Fi, data cabling, CCTV, access control or resilient internet. Guest and staff networks can be separated, fixed devices can be put on cable and a second connection can be considered where losing internet would materially affect the site.

Rural properties can need more than a faster router. Where fixed broadband is poor or unavailable, we can assess Starlink and 4G / 5G internet alongside the internal network. Farms, workshops, annexes, holiday accommodation and separate buildings can then be connected using fibre, Ethernet or a point-to-point wireless bridge depending on distance, route and the buildings involved.

Security systems often depend on the same cable routes, PoE switches, internet connection and remote-access network as the rest of the site. We can plan wired CCTV, wireless alarms and door entry or access control alongside the wider network where that is appropriate. Life-safety, fire-door and powered-gate interfaces remain subject to the specialist approvals described on the access-control service page.
