A living room used every day may benefit most from a well-positioned television and a suitable soundbar. Another room may suit an AV receiver and separate speakers, while a space with controllable light may make a projector worthwhile. We recommend the level of equipment that fits your use, room and budget instead of automatically over-engineering the installation.

We look at daylight, seating, the usable wall area and equipment access before recommending a screen. Projectors need suitable placement, throw distance, a screen surface and a practical cable route. TV and projector mounting is assessed against the actual structure, equipment and manufacturer's requirements; a large picture is only useful if it is comfortable to watch.

A soundbar can be the simpler option where cabling or room layout limits a separate system. Where surround sound is appropriate, we plan the AV receiver, speaker positions, subwoofer location and cable routes together. Normal setup and commissioning are included in the agreed scope; specialist acoustic modelling, bespoke cinema construction and reference-grade calibration are not part of this service.

We plan how Sky, streaming players, consoles and other sources reach the screen and sound system, including connector access and equipment ventilation. Where sources need to serve several rooms, HDMI distribution remains the specialist service. Data cabling and Wi-Fi support streaming and connected equipment; they cannot improve a limited incoming service by themselves.

During renovation, decide screen, speaker and cabinet positions before plastering. We work within the existing Smart Home first-fix approach, coordinating technology routes with your trades. In a finished room, TV wall mounting and hidden-cable work may be all that is needed, or part of a larger installation. Cable concealment and making good are agreed after assessing access.

We test the agreed sources, picture and audio connections, confirm normal operation and show you how to use the system. We explain the controls, where the equipment is located and any limits or subscriptions. If you also want music in other rooms, that is planned through our multi-room audio service so the two systems complement each other.
