Start with what the room needs to do
A reception screen, a shared presentation room and a background-music system solve different problems. We establish who uses the equipment, what they want to show or hear, how often it runs and who will operate it. Then we select a proportionate system, retaining useful hardware where compatibility and condition allow.
Commercial screens and digital signage
We can supply suitable commercial displays, mounts and media players, with power coordination, data points and accessible cable management. Signage hardware is chosen around the content format, display orientation, operating pattern and location. Content creation, licences and ongoing content management need a named owner and an agreed scope; a fitted screen alone does not provide them.
Meeting rooms, boardrooms and video calls
For spaces used for presentations and remote meetings, our Meeting Room & Boardroom AV service brings together the display, camera, microphones or video bar, speakers and laptop connections. We check the intended conferencing platform and devices before specifying hardware, then test an agreed presentation and call workflow.
HDMI, USB and presentation connectivity
We plan how a laptop or source reaches the display and how cameras and microphones connect back to it. HDMI, USB and suitable wireless presentation systems have different compatibility and distance requirements. Multi-screen projects use the existing HDMI distribution service for source routing and the appropriate transport method; a Cat6 cable does not by itself make every AV connection Ethernet.
Practical commercial audio
Straightforward background audio may suit reception areas, shops, offices or staff spaces. We plan speaker positions, zones, amplifier compatibility and cabling around audibility and normal use. Music-service terms and any public-performance permissions remain part of the customer's operating arrangements. Specialist acoustic design, advanced DSP programming, broadcast, theatre production and large LED-wall engineering are outside this offer.
The infrastructure behind the screen
Clean mounting and accessible cabling matter as much as the screen specification. We can provide Cat6 data cabling, switching and commercial network integration, working alongside your MSP. AV can form part of an office technology fit-out or relocation rather than becoming a separate installation problem.
Configuration, testing and staff handover
We agree the equipment list, sources, connections and everyday operating steps before installation. Handover includes normal use, source selection and the agreed tests, with responsibility for accounts and ongoing support made clear. We do not present EDD as a platform-certified Teams Rooms or Zoom integrator; compatibility is checked for the actual hardware and use case.
