Temporary & Site Internet Solutions

Need an interim connection while waiting for broadband? This page covers that installed use. For a long-term network spanning farms, yards, outbuildings or accommodation, use Remote Site Connectivity. Both services use customer-owned installed equipment; neither offers rental or event hire.

Temporary internet is useful when a site needs to get online before a permanent fixed service is available, when the premises will only be occupied for a limited period, or when the location is too remote for a sensible fixed-line installation. That can mean temporary broadband for a new office, temporary Wi-Fi for a site cabin, or a complete site-internet setup using mobile or satellite connectivity with the network behind it.

Construction sites often need more than one laptop connected in a cabin. Site managers may need cloud systems, VoIP, printers, tablets, CCTV, project devices and Wi-Fi around several working areas. We assess the available connection first, then design the site Wi-Fi and wired network around the people, equipment and buildings that actually need access.

A business can be ready to move before the fixed broadband, FTTP or leased connection is ready. We can assess an interim connection so the premises can get online while the permanent service follows the provider's normal delivery process. The installed customer-owned equipment can remain as backup where appropriate or form part of the final network once the fixed circuit is live. Removal and redeployment packages are not part of the current offer.

We do not force every temporary site onto one technology. Where mobile service is strong, a suitable 4G or 5G connection may be the simplest answer. Where mobile coverage is weak but the site has a suitable sky view, Starlink may be more practical. Some sites benefit from one as the primary connection and another as a backup, but the design is based on measured conditions and the site's actual requirements rather than a blanket rule.

Getting internet to one router is only the first step. If the connection needs to reach offices, cabins, workshops or separate buildings, we can extend it with managed Wi-Fi and commercial networking, Cat6 cabling or point-to-point wireless links where those methods suit the layout. The aim is usable coverage where people and equipment work, not simply an internet speed test beside the router.

Remote connectivity can also support sites where there are few or no regular users but equipment still needs to communicate. That might include CCTV, remote monitoring, a small office, workshop equipment or other IP devices. We check the power, connection method, addressing requirements and local network rather than assuming that a mobile router by itself solves every remote-access problem.

Evolution can handle the customer-side connectivity as one joined-up job: the incoming 4G, 5G or Starlink connection, router or gateway, switching, Wi-Fi access points, data cabling and connection of supported IP equipment. That keeps responsibility clearer than having one company deliver an internet box while somebody else has to work out how to get the connection around the site.

We quote around the actual site rather than advertising one universal temporary-internet package. Equipment is supplied or installed as customer-owned equipment. We do not currently offer equipment hire, rental fleets, event packages or project-end removal/redeployment. SIM or broadband subscriptions, Starlink service charges, data policies and any ongoing provider contract are stated before work proceeds. We do not promise a fixed installation time, guaranteed mobile speed, unlimited data or a provider activation date that is outside our control.
