What we install & set up
Sky Glass receives the Sky service over broadband, so a good installation is as much about the wall position and network connection as it is about the bracket. A typical visit can include:
- Wall mount compatible with the specific Sky Glass model, TV weight and wall construction
- Power position planned separately from low-voltage network / AV cabling
- Wi-Fi or Ethernet connection checked at the TV position
- Sky account setup with the customer entering passwords and verification codes
- Favourites / viewing preferences and supported picture, voice and audio settings
- Compatible soundbar connection using the interfaces supported by the TV and audio equipment
- Media wall & feature wall integration

Sky Glass mounted the way it's meant to look
Sky Glass does not need a satellite dish for the Sky service, but it does need a reliable broadband connection and an appropriate power arrangement. We choose the mount and fixings for the exact model and wall, check the network at the final position, route low-voltage cabling neatly where practical, and keep mains power as a separate compliant installation requirement rather than simply burying a flexible lead inside the wall.
What's involved
Every install is quoted as a fixed scope based on the Sky Glass model, wall construction, cable-routing requirements and extras such as a soundbar or media wall.
- Model-compatible mount and wall fixings
- Power position planned appropriately for the installation
- Wi-Fi tested at the install point or Ethernet used where suitable
- Supported soundbar connection and pairing
- Existing TV removal from the wall where included in the scope
- Tidy finish with cable route agreed before drilling
Media walls & feature walls
We work with joiners and decorators on media-wall installations where Sky Glass, power, network and audio need to be planned before the wall is closed. We handle the AV side and coordinate bracket support and cable routes so the finished screen is serviceable and the required trades can complete their parts correctly.
